We undertake a variety of building surveys and inspections tailored to suit both the building and its condition and your intended requirements and budget. These range from brief overview inspections to provide a quick opinion on the suitability of a building through to full detailed building surveys, as follows:-
A less detailed inspection and summary advice intended to provide an overall opinion on the building’s condition, suitability for use and often a guide estimate for repairs or refurbishment.
Specific Defects Reports
An in-depth analysis focused on a particular problem within a building, together with detailed reports containing observations, causes and recommendations for remedial works often accompanied with budget costs. See also Expert and Technical Reports.
Full Building Surveys
Traditionally called a “Structural Survey” and now often referred to as a “Technical Due Diligence Survey”. This is a detailed element by element survey of the building and report on its construction and defects evident together with recommendations for remedial works or maintenance. These reports are often supplemented by additional reports by other specialists on aspects such as asbestos, drainage or mechanical and electrical services.
