Dilapidation Works on Behalf of the Landlord, Colwyn Bay

As well as scruffy high street properties in disrepair, every now and again we are asked to survey something more special.  This building was originally a significant Victorian dwelling house but was converted to offices in the more recent past and was a joy to survey.

Again, the Tenant had vacated the premises without undertaking repair, redecoration or reinstatement works and we were therefore commissioned to produce a Terminal Schedule of Dilapidations.  The Landlord wanted to undertake the works to present the property in its best possible light for the market and as such the loss and subsequent claim for damages was straightforward to prove and negotiate.  The works were successfully undertaken by a local contractor under our contract administration and the subsequent claim for damages successfully agreed and recovered.
